Karoo hospitality at it’s best. Beautiful houses, biscuits on your pillow and everything you need to feel at home. Highly, highly recommended for anyone wanting to escape to the middle of nowhere for the weekend — or longer.

The most beautiful houses with an incredible view. We stayed here on a bike packing trip, and Lianda went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay and provided us with the best Karoo lamb tjops and boerewors for dinner, and made us food parcels for our next day. Karoo hospitality at it's best! We will definitely return.

Such a beautifully decorated cottage with personal touches. Lilian is a great host and very thoughtful. Fresh flowers on the table and homemade jams and olives. If you like peace and quiet, birds and the milky way then this is the place for you.

We stayed in a comfortable, spacious cottage with a lovely view. It had all the amenities and comforts of home in a beautiful setting in the Klein Karoo. I loved walking around on the farm to take photos of the beautiful flowers and interesting succulents. On arrival we were given a home baked loaf of bread with Ladismith cheese, butter and jam. We also enjoyed the complementary sherry! I will definitely be back, this time bringing my dog!

We spent two nights here over the course of a week cycle trip through the Klein Karoo, and the location and service was excellent. Firewood was at hand and our host assisted with provisions including snacks which was amazing after a long, wet day on the bicycle. Can highly recommend for anyone cycling through

“Location: peace and quiet in an astounding environment. We arrived from Cape Town direction, through Barrydale, the last stretch on a good dirt road. Prinspoort with its spectacular rock formations, just before you arrive on the farm, is a miraculous sight. We stayed in the Elandhuisie, super clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything you need. All you need to take are your food and drinks. Freshly baked, delicious farm bread, jam and cheese await you on arrival. Lianda and her husband are wonderful hosts who will go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. We forgot some goodies and Lianda quickly arranged for it to be sent to us. We stayed for three days and enjoyed the views, the walks and the fresh air. If you are looking for a break from the urban madness, look no further, peace and quiet prevail on this farm.

Absolutely fantastic…well equipped…spacious…excellent linen and well equipped kitchen…the large stoep with quality furniture and barbeque area so peaceful and have most wonderful view…we enjoyed the swimming pool in the heat…little oasis between the mountains. Friendly and helpful host. Pet friendly as well.

Beautiful location and cottage for people loving nature. We were also very impressed by Lilian’s hospitality; we were welcomed with a freshy baked bread and home made jam. Lots of attention to detail. Thanks Lilian, we will definitely return.

This was a wonderful find! The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. This house is very well equipped. There is an outside and an inside fireplace to cover all kinds of weather. The farm is beautiful and peaceful with a wonderful view from the veranda. The hosts are very friendly. They are communicative but not to the point of being intrusive. They went the extra mile by making sure we have towels for our dogs and even offer fresh produce from their garden. All in all, a solid 5 Stars!
